This web page is dedicated to the Rotterdam Hennekes family.  They descended from Aart Hennekes and Hendrika Johanna Kemp, who were both originally from Dordrecht.  Somewhere between April 5, 1893 and March 4, 1896, they moved their family to Rotterdam.  They gave birth to over 20 children, many of whom died at childbirth or at early ages.

Three of their sons were Hendrik Johannes, Martinus and Leendert.
