The said declaration was made in the presence of Dirk Nedermeijer, 50 years old, painter, and Krijn Roos, 57 years old, brick-layer, living both in Dordrecht.

After reading out this certificate, the father and the witnesses signed with us this certificate.

The fourteenth of November eighteen hundred and ninety-five, appeared before me, Folkertinus Nicholaas Siebringa (lawyer), civil servant of the Registration Office of the town of Dordrecht, to solomnize their intended marriage, of which the by law required announcements have been made on the third and the tenth of this month, LEENDERT HENNEKES, thirty-three years old, tinsmith, born and living here, widower of Aaltje Roozen, son of Johannes Hennekes, without profession, living here, and of Pieternella Wiers, deceased, and JOHANNA JACOBA VAN WALRAVEN, twenty-four years old, born in Rotterdam, living here, maid-servant, daughter of Johannes Lodewijk van Walraven, and of Johanna Jacoba Blommers, both deceased.

By the husband to be were produced the following:

1. their birth-certificates

2. the death-certificates of the first wife and the parents of the bride

3. a certificate proving that he had done his service in the National Militia

To proceed to the solomnization of this marriage, they were asked by me, civil servant of the Registration Office, whether they took each other as man and wife and will faithfully fulfill all duties, which are by law connected to the state of matrimony, which was answered affirmative by them and I declared that in the name of the law LEENDERT HENNEKES and JOHANNA JACOBA VAN WALRAVEN were united in matrimony, in the presence of
